The location is central, just off Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. The employees are helpful and lovely friendly.

The location was perfect and incredible, to Nelson monument. Hotel's breakfast was plentiful with really good quality food, yoghurt, home-made goodies from delicious buttery croissants to full English and could satisfy any taste. The staff was helpful, excellant friendly.

I experienced some inconvenience due to Wi-Fi connectivity issues in my room, and I wished for a bit more flexibility in breakfast serving times. It's a great spot for a relaxing getaway.

The hosts were super nice and cute, right from the start. Our pet dog felt right at home with plenty of blankets and towels. Brekkie was delish and made from local stuff. There was a cosy lounge with board games. Oh, and privacy garden area was a big hit!

Although the breakfast was delicious, I wished for more variety in dinner options nearby, which limited our choices for evening meals. The bed in our room was quite high. These small issues impacted my overall experience.

The location is perfect, with fine walks right from the doorstep, we loved exploring Chatsworth House and Birchen Edge. The room was comfy, and breakfast made from local ingredients was delicious! Don't miss out on the lovely outdoor spaces for relaxation.

Unfortunately, we felt a bit of a disconnect with the hosts, which gave a somewhat impersonal vibe. It didn't detract too much from our overall experience, but it's worth mentioning.

The attention to detail was evident in the double room with terrace, immaculate and cozy. We enjoyed the excellent breakfast, especially the variety of choices, including vegan options. It was lovely to have a garden area where we could relax with our dog and enjoy birdwatching. The hosts were friendly and nearby was a great pub for meals.

Couples looking for an intimate getaway

The room had this amazing outdoor decking area perfect for our morning coffee and dog naps. Plus, the breakfast was served right to our room, it was like royalty.

It was kinda pricey but worth every penny.

Don't miss the homemade cakes available throughout the day. they add a delightful touch to your stay!

Perfect getaway with a warm welcome

The hosts Chris and Caroline were super friendly and helped me feel right at home. Breakfast was mind-blowing, especially the homemade yogurt. I loved the direct access to the beautiful walks. Little touches like fresh milk in the fridge and complimentary drinks were nice, but it did get a bit noisy from other rooms sometimes.
